About this event
Join MBCA Peachtree member Brooks Metzler will cover an issue that plagues or will eventually plague all of our cars: a sagging headliner. In this presentation, he will talk about what it takes to remove the headliner, select new material, the process of removing the old material, and attaching new material and reinstalling the headliner. This session will be great for anyone who is willing to put in some hours and pack their patience, but not spend a lot of money. Along the way, he will provide some helpful pointers and talk about some bumps in the road you may encounter during the job.
IMPORTANT ZOOM VTC SECURITY NOTE: We are very well aware of security issues that have raised past concerns about ZOOM VTCs. ZOOM has implemented many security fixes over the previous years and we have also instituted a number of security precautions, which include a set of ground rules that will be covered at the start of the presentation. As these ground rules constitute part of our security system, it is important to follow them.
You must log in with your first and last name. You may have to change your display name when you log into Zoom. No participants will be admitted who are using pseudonyms i.e. such as fastbenz@email.com or benzfan@email.com, Jims ipad, or jimsphone, etc Once you log in you should change your login name in Zoom if it is anything other than your first and last name.
After you register, you will get a confirmation email - make sure you get this because this email address is the one we'll use to send you the link to the ZOOM meeting. We will send this out the evening before the event, with a follow-up the day of the event for any later registrants. If you don't get the confirmation email, then either you aren't registered or your email address is incorrect in motorsportreg - and you won't have the information you need to get in to the meeting. Contact Contact Rubin Howard at rubinhoward777@gmail.com or by phone at 310-980-6747 if you have problems with this.
We will plan to have the ZOOM meeting up by 6:40 PM so we can hopefully get technical issues out of the way.
