GVC presents SPRINGFEST 2026!

This is an event open to all and is shaping up to be one of the biggest GVC events ever and you do not want to miss it! Join us at Watkins Glen International on the weekend of May 15th to the 17th for a whole weekend of High Performance Driving, Club Racing, Camping, Social Gatherings, etc. Please read this and register for any activity you intend to participate in so we have an accurate count, and have an appropriate waiver on file!

BMWCCA Club Race: Our friends at BMWCCA Club Racing will be holding a three-day club racing Pan Am Challenge event on track all weekend. Come watch real racers battle it out on the historic course race schedule will be released and sent out prior to the event. Autocross: This event is still tenative as of right now (March 7th) pending logistics. If the autocross does not take place all registrations will be fully refunded. The autocross will be held Saturday morning, the 16th in the lower paddock at Watkins Glen International. Exact details to follow. This will be a GVC-style "fun-for-all" event. No PAX, No Classes, No Points. Run what ya brung and have a blast. The autocross will be wrapped up by mid afternoon on Saturday to allow you to participate in the Track Taxi rides, Garage Party, and Track Walk. Stick around and enjoy being at the track, bring a tent and camp!

Camping: Infield Camping will be open all weekend, no tickets, no parking passes, just register here, fill out the waiver, and enjoy. We are asking for a volutary donation of a couple bucks to subsidize our costs, but it is not necesary. Bathroom and Shower facities will be availabe, water is available around the in-field, dump stations are open, no electric hook ups will be available. There are no assigned spots, first come first serve anywhere that looks good to you. Gates open for camping at 6:00PM on Thursday evening, and you can stay until 5:00PM on Sunday. You can come and go whenever you like.

Track Taxi Rides (18+): This is your chance to get out on track with a highly experienced driver, at full speed! This will take place Saturday afternoon, Track Taxi passengers will meet at the front of the garage and be escorted to the pit lane staging area where volunteers will be ready to take you on a thrill ride around the track. Rides will be 3-5 laps depending on volume of passengers and driver volunteers. All participants MUST be 18. No exceptions.

Track Walk: Join us Saturday afteroon at 6:00PM sharp at the front of the garage for a guided tour of Watkins Glen International. We will be driving around and stopping at certain places on track to get out, walk around, and observe. Please put as many people in vehicles as possible to minimize the number of cars on track. You may ride in the bed of pickup trucks, but must be seated on the floor, not the side or wheel wells. NO GLASS BOTTLES ALLOWED ON THE TRACK. Groups will be guided by our lead instructors and will offer fascinating insight into the nuances of the track. This is an incredible opportunity to explore the track where the legends have raced for decades.

Garage Social: This GVC famous event on Saturday evening, 5:30PM - ? is the place to be. Beer and NA beverages will be provided by one of the club's generous sponsors. This is the time to meet the HPDE drivers, Club Race drivers, instructors, walk the garage, check out the machanery, listen in to the battle stories of the day and have a laugh.
