VOLUNTEER SPECIALTIES:

• Flag Marshals: Flags are used to warn drivers of hazards, provide information or give instructions. In the case of an incident, or a change in circumstances such as rain, an attentive flag marshal on the spot can provide a faster warning than any other system, and can quickly feed accurate information back to race control. Similarly Race control can ask flag marshals to instruct or warn drivers, using the flags. 

• Grid:  Grid Marshals are responsible for maintaining number of team members working assisting with driver changes, monitoring pit lane speed, and other general safety concerns.

• Registration:  Registration is responsible for insuring that all participants have signed waivers and are issued wristbands associated with their duties.

• Timing and Scoring:  Workers are responsible for the timing and scoring of the competitors and event race heats.

• Tech:  Insures karts are safe for operation; nuts and bolts are tight; battery(s) are secure; safety belts are secure; and side panels are secured.
