Join Grassroots Motorsports on a day-long road trip to the Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge presented by Tire Rack.
Limited to just 50 cars, this trip will take you on some of central Florida's finest driving roads as we tour from Orlando to Gainesville. Along the way, we'll stop at a normally off-limits private car collection for a tour of everything from brass-era automobiles to secret concept cars that should have been crushed. After a catered lunch, we'll explore more great roads and arrive at Gainesville Raceway in time to join the $2000 Challenge field for dinner, then watch the drag race.
All cars are eligible as long as they are licensed and insured.
Attendees will receive:
- An amazing day of driving on curvy back roads
- Access to turn-by-turn navigation through a custom smartphone app
- Catered lunch
- Entry to a private car collection normally closed to the public
- Spectator wristband for the $2000 Challenge

Event Schedule:
- 8:30 am - Car show at starting location
- 9:30 am - Depart Downtown Orlando
- 12:00 pm - Arrive at private collection
- 1:00 pm - Lunch
- 2:00 pm - Depart private collection
- 4:00 pm - Arrive at $2000 Challenge
The $2000 Challenge drag race is open to all attendees, but tickets must be purchased separately. Register for drag racing, camping and more right here. And yes, you'll be eligible to win drag racing prizes.

All drivers must have a valid driver's license. All vehicles must be street-legal, registered and insured.
