JXB and FVSCC will be hosting Midwest Ice Battle 2026 at Big Eau Pleine Reservoir on Sunday February 1st, 2026.

This will be a combined lapping and standing start event with lapping in the morning and timed runs starting at 12:30pm

We have safe ice, but we must state that if the forecasted high temperature for the day of this event is 30 degrees or warmer we will have to cancel. We will announce on Saturday night if that is the case. Keep in mind we may also cancel this at 9am the morning of the event due to circumstances that come up with attempting to host events on frozen lakes. Mother Nature can be a real pain.

Our cancellation policy is as follows: If the registrant does not make any timed runs they will be refunded as long as they contact us before the 10am the day of.

Schedule:
9am - 9:30am registration
9:45am drivers meeting
10am-Noon Lapping
12:30pm first car out for timed runs

Entry Fee: $35
Registration is being limited to 80 entries, there will be no onsite registration.
DOT helmet, drivers license, and a car that will pass a basic safety inspection is required.
