Welcome to The FIRM Open Track Day — where seat time is the priority and drivers come to improve.

Designed for all experience levels, Open Track welcomes everyone from first-timers building confidence to experienced drivers refining technique, testing setups, chasing consistency, or dialing in lap times. Whether you’re learning the fundamentals, shaking down a new build, or simply looking for quality time behind the wheel, The FIRM offers a safe, structured, and low-traffic environment to focus on becoming a better driver.

Run groups are limited to just 9 cars per session, delivering more laps, more reps, less traffic, and more room to drive at your pace. Plus, drivers help shape the experience — each event includes a morning vote to choose from one of four different Short Course layouts.

Open Track Days are typically held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Whether you’re refining your skills, testing changes, preparing for competition, or just looking to unplug from the stress of the week and spend quality time behind the wheel— open track is the perfect escape.

Non-Member Pricing:
$250 — Early Registration (minimum 3 days in advance)
$275 — Standard Registration / At the Gate

Additional Fees:
$100 — Private 20-minute instruction session
(Required if this is your first HPDE event ever)
$100 — Additional Driver Fee (shared vehicle)
$35 — FIRM Transponder Rental
$25 — Link Personal Transponder
$25 — Passenger Fee
$25 — Helmet Rental (first come, first served)

OPEN TRACK DAY SCHEDULE
7:30 AM — Gates Open
8:00 AM — Vehicle Technical Inspection
8:45 AM — Mandatory Drivers Meeting (includes course layout vote)
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Track Open
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM — Lunch Break / Track Closed
1:00 PM – 4:00 PM — Track Open
5:00 PM — Gates Closed

EVENT POLICIES

• Events run RAIN or SHINE.
• The FIRM maintains a no refund policy. However, if notice is provided 24+ hours prior to the event, a credit valid for 90 days will be issued.
• Events are subject to change due to Private Track Rentals and facility operations. In rare cases, Open Track Days may be canceled or rescheduled, with credits applied to a future event (no refunds). Notification of cancellations or schedule changes will be sent via email at least 2 days prior to the event.
• A minimum of 10 registered drivers is required for the event to run.

Required Tech Inspection Form: All drivers MUST complete and bring a printed Tech Inspection Form on event day. Required Tech Inspection Form found HERE

Insurance & Liability Notice: Participants are responsible for confirming track/event coverage with their personal insurance provider.
