Ferrari Club Kart Challenge
MSR Houston Karting | March 15, 2014
The Ferrari Club of America - Houston Chapter, is holding a kart racing event at 4 karting centers in the Houston area. These centers are: Pole Position, MSR Houston, Track 21 and K-1 Speed. This event is the first event of its kind in the Houston area and we (FCA) will introduce this to other car clubs in the Houston area to eventually have a competitive racing series between these clubs at later dates.
There will be a total of 12 racers at each track. All of these racers are experienced kart racers and all have competed in the past and understand the negative implications of bumping into other karts etc. At each track we are running 3 “Arrive and Race” style events that compete for fastest time, not position. There will not be any podium events or award ceremonies required.
Pole Position – Arrive at 9:00 AM - Run 3 Arrive and Race events and depart by 10:00 AM.
MSR Houston Karting – Arrive at 10:45 AM - Run 3 Arrive and Race events and depart by 11:45 AM.
Lunch Break
Track 21 – Arrive at 2:30 PM - Run 3 Arrive and Race events and depart by 3:30 PM.
K-1 Speed - Arrive at 4:00 PM - Run 3 Arrive and Race events and depart by 5:00 PM.
Awards Ceremony and Dinner time and place TBD.
