February 25th, 2024 RallyCross at The Pit

United Pit Mine

About this event

Do you have what it takes?

RallyCross takes your driving experience to the next level. While on the course, you will traverse multiple types of surfaces that will test and hone your ability to respond quickly to traction variables and constantly changing track conditions. RallyCross tests the vehicle's agility and handling, rather than its speed or power

Although they look like fun, we are not similar to "Nitro-Rally-X" or other televised "Rally-X" events.

We follow the rules of SCCA Rallycross, so its you & your car against the clock, (no side-by-side racing.)

Another difference:  There are NO JUMPS on the course.

A win in SCCA Rallycross comes by having the lowest cumulative time for the day within your class, after running multiple laps (often 8 to 10, or more, # determined on raceday by the rally chairman)

Loose items are a hazard and you will be asked to remove them. Depending on weather conditions, there is no space to hold items inside the trailer so they will be exposed to the elements.

Working and Assignments

All competitors are required to perform work assignments when they're not running or they need to find someone to work on their behalf. Replacement workers must attend the driver's meeting. Failure to work your work duty during the race could result in disqualification. If you have a special circumstance, such as a disability, please make the event staff aware at registration check-in. There is uneven ground! Please be aware of your surroundings while working near the track. Even though set-up and tear-down are not assigned duties, everyone's help is appreciated.
