SVR will hosting an event planning seminar on March 12, 2022 at Porsche of Rocklin from 9:00 - 12 Noon. If you have an interest in perhaps organized a tour, dinner event or rally and wanted to know what is involved this is a great way to learn some of the general guidelines for planning an event with the Porsche Club. You will gain a step by step guide to event planning and be provided with a checklist of tasks involved in setting up registration via Motorsportreg.com, how to apply for event insurance, if required, how to complete post event and observer reports, how to market your event, and how to develop a budget and what is needed to get an event approved by the board of directors.
The event is free and limited to only 20 students. Checkin opens at 8:30 am with the seminar beginning promptly at 9:00 am. The seminar will be held in the Porsche of Rocklin conference room with entrance at the service bay entrance. All attendees are asked to park in the back parking lot at the dealership.
Event requirements
There are no requirements needed to attend, just a valid PCA membership and a desire to host an event. Due to Covid -19 concerns face masks will be required. You should not attend or cancel if you are feeling ill. The safety of our members and attendees is a priority.
