About this event
The Hawaii Region of the Sports Car Club of America will be holding an End of the 2013-2014 RallyCross Season Party on Saturday, September 13th, 2014 from 8am to 12noon. The party will be held at the The Groove Kart Track in Honolulu, Hawaii. We are happy to say that we were able to secure special pricing from The Grove for the party. The Groove is offering special hours, 2 Kart races and a Main Event for the top SCCA Hawaii qualifiers, the use of their Party Room for 4 hours and lunch for the party.
Doors open at 8AM, Drivers Meeting at 8:30AM and heat 1 begins around 8:45AM. Everyone will get 2 guaranteed Kart races Lunch around 11AM. Lunch choices are:
1) 1/4lb sirlion steak burger with cheese, fries and 12oz drink
2) Mississippi Chicken (grilled whole leg) 2 scoops rice, tossed salad and 12oz drink
The Groove will also allow us to bring some outside snacks like dessert, etc. But we need to purchase any other food and drinks from their onsite vendors.
Registration fees are $50 for current SCCA members and $65 for all others. We have already credited any event fees that were not previously used in this past season. Those fees can be applied for this party. We will also be inviting the principles from Kalaeloa Raceway Park as a thank you for the 4 fun filled years that we had at KRP.
Only checks or money orders payable to SCCA Hawaii-Rally will be accepted at the event.
Please note that the non-member fee includes an SCCA Weekend membership and will give you a $15-discount towards full SCCA membership, which includes a subscription to SportsCar (our national magazine).
Event requirements
Participants must present a valid driver’s license, and if under 18-years of age, they must contact the Region for a waiver form. This form will need to be signed by the participant’s parents prior to competition. SCCA Hawaii will apply for event insurance under the Social Rally criteria. Participants will be covered by The Grooves insurance while on the Kart Track.
