Dinner with F1 Driver Brett Lunger

Hear first hand  about the events in the middle 70's when F1 teams were trying to extract ever more horsepower from the powerplants,  but not much thought about driver safety.  Learn what inspired the making of  the film "Rush and the documentary "1".  Wilmington's Brett Lunger was in the middle of the most pivotal crash scene in "Rush.

Brett is a rarity:  an American racing full time in Formula One.  He competed in a total of 34 F1 events and is probably most remembered for the role he played in helping Niki Lauda escape from the flaming remains of his Ferrari after a crash at the Nurburgring in 1976,
