CVR's Annual Meeting/election of officers and Brunch will be celebrated on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Millpond Gatherings, Northford, CT. (1565 Middletown Avenue).
The historic Millpond facility has completed extensive renovation, retaining the original focal points of the historic and rustic yet elegant venue. Enjoy scenic views of countryside and farmland. Millpond has been listed on the National historic places of New Haven County and is rich in history dating back to the 1700s. Originally the millpond had a hydro powered water wheel at the dam on the Farm River which powered businesses with over 10 patents for products invented and produced at the site. After manufacturing buttons, rakes, ladles and ladders, it became a greeting card company making Northford the greeting card capital of the U.S. for a short time.
** Our Community Services chair Lynn Keller will be collecting unwrapped toys and monetary donations in lieu of toys for the "Toys For Tots" foundation at this event.
