Saturday May 5, 2018 

 

The Central Carolinas Region of the Sports Car Club of America and The Charlotte Motor Speedway Racing Services Staff will conduct a Flagging and Communications training course for volunteer SCCA race course workers on Saturday May 5, 2018 at Concord, NC, CMS infield race facility from 8am-3:30pm

SCCA members of any region affiliation are welcome to participate, no experience is required.  There is no registration fee.  Participants should come prepared with long sleeve cotton shirts, full lenght cotton pants, boots or leather shoes, hats, sunglasses and sunblock.  Lunch will be provided.  The event will be held rain or shine.  Activities will include classroom instruction, hands on fire training and race vehicle incident control measures followed by flagging station exercises.  Upon arrival at the Highway 29 Speedway front entrance, participants are to proceed clockwise around the track to the tunnel gate number 26 to sign a track waiver form at the guard station before preceding to the infiled Media center for the 8:00am start.
