About this event
Our Challenge Series is Autocross with a twist! We normally have a couple practice runs in the morning, then the 4 qualifying runs. However, instead of your single fastest run, we add ALL 4 RUNS together to get your overall time. This rewards the consistent driver over the "banzai" driver that hits lots of cones! We also run a looser class set up as seen below to encourage drivers to bring out their "fun" cars! After qualifying we will have chase challenge for top 4 in each class. Top sead will choose to lead or follow. Cars will be released via flag a set time apart. Goal is to either close the gap if you are the chase, and increase the gap if you are the lead car by the finish. If there is not a definitive winner (a 2 second difference) after the first run we will swap positions and run again, combining the finish difference for a winner in each heat.
After competition we will open the course to fun/practice runs for the remainder of the day!
This event will be held at Apple Valley Speedway (formerly Grange Motor Circuit), but will be run in an autocross format with no hot lapping for the day.
Payment
- Registration is only $75 before Sept 27th, and $80 afterwards. Apple Valley charges a $10 gate fee per person, so please be aware..
- You must use either Visa or MasterCard to register.
- Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking.
- We will assign a number day of the event between 601 and 699. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMETHING DIFFERENT, please go and buy a 2023 pointscard and you can reserve your number!
- Cancellation policy: If Cancellation is received more than 10 days prior to the event, you will receive a full refund. All Cancellations, including late cancellations, need to be done through motorsportsreg.com

Event requirements
No experience is required for this event.
We have VERY limited helmets available, so please message us to reserve one beforehand if you believe you will need it. You will need at lease an M/SA2010 rated helmet.
As per Apple Valleys requirements, all convertables need to have a hardtop or approriate roll over protection.
TECH INSPECTION
- All entrants must sign a completed Tech Inspection form and have it with them as part of registration at the event. The Tech form can be downloaded and printed at: 2022-TECHNICAL-INSPECTION-FORM-Autocross.pdf Please note: Random Tech inspections will be performed during the event.
