Friday afternoon 3pm - 6pm (depending). we will host a Barbeque Party and Check-In event for entrants to CKC. If you are planning to arrive early on Friday for CKC, check in and then chill/party with us.

Non-competitors are allowed! Family/friends allowed! There will be no cars on course. Course walks MUST be completed before we reopen the runway for planes. Help with course setup and cone chalking is appreciated.

We are asking for, but not requiring, people to bring a food item for pot-luck, or to make any donation they see fit to help defray the cost, if they are able. If a LOT of people are volunteering to bring food items, help with money will be more beneficial to buy burgers/dogs than simply more of the same side dishes.

The planned menu includes:

• hamburgers
• hot dogs
• lettuce, tomato, onion, etc for burgers
• potato chips/doritos
• salad (basic lettuce, tomato, cucumber, etc)
• cole slaw
• mac/potato salad
• veggie tray + dip
• cheese slices, cubes
• soda, seltzer
• iced tea, lemonade, water
• dessert(s)

Some other ideas if you want to bring:

• baked beans
• mac & cheese
• corn salad
• pie
• pretzel dessert caserole
• brownies

Non-food items we need:

• condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, bbq sauce, hot sauce, relish)
• plates, utensils, napkins, paper towels, plastic wrap/bags
• service utensils, large plates/bowls
• wet wipes
