Cambria Christmas Markets and Wine Tour

About this event

There's no better way to ring in the holidays than time with great people, beautiful Porsches and glühwein!  Join the Vineyard Region on a two night tour to the Christmas Markets in Cambria and Paso Robles wineries.  Our adventure will begin on Thursday, December 21st in the early morning.  We will venture down to Cambria stopping off at lunch at a cool spot along the way.  Once we arrive at our hotel, we will check in, take a short rest, then head over to the Cambria Christmas Market.

At the market you will find the perfect, unique gifts for your loved ones (and maybe even something for yourself!) this holiday season, and help support their amazing local crafters and makers. They will host amazing vendors selling handmade goods, including wooden puzzles and games, local food products, candles, jewelry, home decor and so much more! Their authentic German booth will continue to feature the best in handmade, imported German Christmas decor, including nutcrackers and smokers, glass-blown ornaments and more. Or you can wind down and enjoy live music, holiday drinks, beer and wood-fired pizza in the Biergarten. We will hand everyone a $20 bill and gift bag for you to purchase a white elephant gift to be exchanged at dinner the next night.

The Cambria Christmas Market is based on the Christmas markets that originated in Europe and date back to the Late Middle Ages. These open-air holiday markets or, as they called them in Germany and Austria, “Weihnachtsmarkt,” were generally held in or near to the town square. Vendors sold festive food, drink, and goods and the town celebrated with traditional song and dance. These types of markets are now held all over the world to celebrate the Christmas season! The Cambria Christmas Market’s many unique offerings include tempting local food and drink, fresh baked goods and treats, and Glühwein, their traditional German hot spiced wine—guaranteed to keep you cozy while wandering through this Winter Wonderland and shopping with the amazing vendors! You can stay as long as you like at the market and grab your dinner and drinks there while strolling around.

Day two will include a drive to Paso Robles for wine tasting, lunch and more fun!  We will participate in a wine tasting at two wineries, and grab lunch together.  You'll be able to visit other establishments after our second tasting (after lunchtime) and head back to the hotel at your leisure.  We will also have a final dinner together this evening complete with a white elephant gift exchange from your Christmas Market shopping.  You'll share your treasures and stories of the trip with your fellow Porsche enthusiasts.  On Saturday morning, you can head back as early as you'd like or stay and linger a little longer, exploring other great towns on your way back home.

The cost of the Weekend is $1075 per couple or $750 for a single driver. (Single drivers~ contact Victoria for registration instructions.) Price includes the tour, a two night hotel stay, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, tastings at 2 wineries, entrance to the Christmas Market, a white elephant gift exchange and fun, fun, fun!  Space is limited so please register NOW by clicking on this link:
