BMWCCA PSR HPDE @ PACIFIC April 15, 2022

Pacific Raceways

About this event

Come join BMWCCA Puget Sound on April 15th  for another great High-Performance Driving Education (HPDE) at Pacific Raceway.

Cost: $300 for the day, including lunch

Registration will close 7 days prior to the event or when the event reaches capacity.

BMWCCA Puget Sound Region has provided High-Performance Driving events at Pacific Raceway and other tracks for more than 40 years. We have a very good safety record and an experienced group of volunteer Instructors and staff.

Our Values

  • Safety -First and foremost.
  • Fun
  • Educational – Schools with an emphasis on improving skills.
  • Welcoming— Friendly and casual.
  • Approachable
  • Inclusive—Open to all members with all skills and all types of cars.

Attendees are assigned to run groups by the Chief Driving Instructor, based on the skills and abilities of the driver, vehicle, and other participating drivers.  Groups run from Novice, where all drivers are instructed to Advanced/Instructors where all drivers are Solo.  Others may be instructed or solo depending on driver skill. Passing rules run from limited to open depending on the run group.  Drivers are expected to advance over time by improving their skills and abilities.

Each run group will meet for a breakout session for a discussion about the track, conditions, traffic management, driving theory, and tips for improvement.  Participation in these sessions is encouraged for each.

See  https://bmw-club-psr.org/driver-education for more information about the HPDE program.

Tech forms are found here: BMWCCA Track Inspection Form Fillable_R1.pdf
Note:  Brake fluid must be changed at least every 6 events or one year, whichever is sooner.

All tech forms must be submitted online in MSR or emailed to the registrar prior to the event.  Paper forms will not be accepted at the track.
