A Visit to the Gleeson Collection
Chapter member Peter Gleeson has probably the best privately-owned BMW collection in North America and one of the best in the world. Fortunately, Peter is very generous with sharing his cars with us. Peter really just loves having fun with his cars and all of us are the lucky beneficiaries of his generosity.
This registration is for the 2 pm tour that will take place on January 8, 2022 in Lynnwood, WA. The tour is approximately 2 hours.
Please arrive 15 min early(1:45 pm) so we are ready to go to the collection at 2pm.
It has been a while since we visited Peter's collection, what with Covid and all, but it is time to see what Peter has added. There are several new surprises that await us. There will be a few changes to the viewing this time.
FIRST, there will be a $20 admission fee to benefit the BMW CCA Foundation. Peter is a Trustee of the Foundation, so it is fitting that the admission will all go to the Foundation to support the good work they do. You're welcome to donate more, but $20 is the minimum for admission. Children under 16 are free.
ALL registration will be thru this MSR listing. If you do not have a MSR account you will need to set one up.
SECOND, the winter weather will drive the collection and all of us indoors, so it is going to be cozy in there. Because of this close proximity, and our general regard for one another, proof of vaccination is required for those 12 and up. If you are not fully vaccinated at the time of the event you will not be allowed to attend. You MUST bring proof of vaccination(either your card or a picture of your card). We will be checking. Masks are required(no gaiters or bandanas allowed),
THIRD, there will not be any coffee or snacks provided, so fuel up before you get there.
Reminder, your are registering for the 2 pm tour with an arrival time of 145 pm.
You MUST register in advance to attend; NO day-of-event registrations. We will meet in Lynnwood, WA. I will send you the exact location after you register. After everyone is together the group will be led over to the Gleeson Collection at the scheduled time.
