About this event
Join us at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on August 21nd & 22rd for the Buckeye Chapter BMW CCA Driving School. Mid-Ohio is an excellent venue with a great track and good facilities.
The student cost is $525 members ($575 non-members) and includes both Saturday and Sunday. That's three half hour on track sessions each day.
Instructors: $000.00 for Friday, Saturday and Sunday OR $000.00 for Saturday and Sunday only. When you register for Saturday & Sunday an option for adding Friday will pop up.
Instructors are required to review the Ross Bentley instructor manual.
Non-members can go to www.bmwcca.org and sign up to become a member, it's actually a bit cheaper than having us sign you up, then just use your new number to register as a member for the event.
Important note to all students: Use of R compound tires is discouraged for beginning student.
Run Groups: A and B will be solo; C will be Lead-Follow. There will be NO Novice run group. Instructors will be assigned to all students to offer any help needed. Please contact us if you have any questions on run group assignments.
Driver's Schools are a great place to see just what you and your Bimmer (or other car) can do. The schools allow performance driving techniques coached from experienced instructors under the safest conditions possible. They are not races, but rather, a controlled environment in which you can push the envelope at your own pace. You'll learn how your car handles at high speed and under extreme cornering. Once you get a taste of how your car behaves under the intensity of track driving, you will be much better prepared for those highway "intense moments". Students are grouped into several categories depending on skills and previous school experience for both in-class and on-track sessions. This is a great investment for any driver, male or female, young or "experienced". We've yet to hear of anyone leaving a Driver's Schools without feeling they were a better driver.
Note: Qualified students have the option driving on Friday August 20th- Advanced Study. Contact registrar (Lance) for approval.
REGISTRATION: Friday Night for Driver’s Schools: 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
LOCATION: Quality Inn, 1000 Comfort Plaza Drive, Bellville, Ohio 44813. Phone 419-886-7000. Ask for BMW CCA discount.
