Race 2 - Cariboo Kart Racers, Quesnel, BC. June 20th-22nd. Counter-Clockwise Layout.

Race 3 - West Coast Kart Club, Chilliwack, BC. July 18th-20th. Clockwise layout.

Race 4 - Vancouver Island Karting Association, Duncan, BC. September 5th-7th. Clockwise Long Layout.

We will be running the BC Regional Rules for 2025 found here.

Series officials reserve the right to request proof of birth date at any time during an event.

Documents accepted: Passport, Birth Certificate, BCID or Care Card.

Drivers are permitted only 1 set of LeVanto tires for the weekends official sessions (qualifying and racing).

Any large teams wanting to load in Thursday night, please email Vikaexec@gmail.com.

Shifters must have 8 entries pre-registered 1 week before race (August 29th).

TaG Senior will run for the 2nd Annual Dorothy Alexander Memorial Trophy.

As per insurance restrictions, a maximum of 40 karts are allowed on track at a given time. VIKA reserves the right to split classes in two to meet this requirement.

Overnight camping will be permitted this year for the event.  No tents are allowed but trailers, RV’s, 5th wheels, motorhomes, etc. will be allowed.  There are no hook ups for water, electricity or sewage; therefore, only self-contained campers.  No fee for camping.  Please email vikaexec@gmail.com to reserve your spot.

If you would prefer a hotel, we have secured a group special rate at the Best Western - Cowichan Valley Inn.  From September 1 to October 1, 2025, the rate will be $179 + taxes a night.  You will need to give the Rate Code: VIKA 2025 Description: Vancouver Island Karting Association.  This rate includes wifi, continental breakfast, parking and seasonal swimming pool. 

Thursday

Facility will be open for pit area set up after 5pm. First come first serve. Reserved pit spots for large teams only. Email vikaexec@gmail.com to inquire. Registration will be open 5:00-7:45. NO on track activities.

Friday

Full day practice provides practice time. Gates open at 6:30am. Registration opensno 7:30am to 4:00pm. A lunch break will commence at 12:00 and conclude at 12:45. Transponders are mandatory for ALL afternoon sessions. Gates close at 7:30.

Please have your new LeVanto tires scanned to avoid the line ups and possible delays with getting on track.

Expect a forthcoming parking map, unloading trailers and pit area setup should be done on this day if feasible.

Saturday & Sunday

Gates open at 6:30am

One warmup session beginning at 9:00am per run group on each day, please practice Friday.

Submit tech forms to Pit Boss during qualifying lineup; no form; no qualifying.

Verify transponders on practice list before qualifying.

Ensure push-down bumpers are unclipped at grid before all official sessions.

Sunday Only

  • Opening ceremonies & national anthems at 8:30am
  • All drivers to front of building with helmets @ 12:15 pm for group photo. 
  • Trophy presentation at 3:30.

Trophies will be awarded based on the finishing results of the final session on Sunday for the BCKC portion of the event. VIKA club racers who don't run the LeVanto tire will receive club points only and not eligible for trophy. 

Gates close at 7:00pm.

Saturdays qualifying and heats will be lined up as per the finishing order of each previous session. Sunday pre-finals will be lined up by total of points from Saturday's heats, if there is a tie; qualifying points will break the tie. This means no qualifying on Sunday. Finals are to be lined up from the finishing order of the pre-finals.

All times and race lengths are subject to change at Race Directors discretion and amount of entries in each class.

Final schedule and race lengths will be announced once registration has been completed.

Transponder numbers are required for all karts. You must provide the number during registration. If you do not own a transponder, you may rent one for $40 for the entire weekend. Please pre-register for a transponder by entering 'RENTAL' in the transponder number field during registration. The club has a limited number of transponders available. They will be rented out in the order you register via MotorsportReg. Failure to have your transponder number registered to your kart will result in no practice times being posted. 

 

Total Fees in CAD$ (includes GST):

$309.75 - Weekend Primary Entry

$52.50 - Additional Class for Primary Entry

$157.50 - Family Entry*

*The family entry is the rate for the third or greater driver in one household.

 

Your payment method will NOT be charged until the race weekend.

Event requirements

All Entries MUST be completed in MotorsportReg.com. NO LATE PAPER ENTRIES will be accepted.

  3. Please use proper capitalization for all of your information as it will appear on the race results. This includes vehicle information.
  4. Review kart making sure to enter your preferred kart number verify your transponder number is correct.
  5. Return to this page, enter the event and pay online.

All entries on MotorSportReg require a credit card to complete the registration process, and payment will be processed once online registration closes. If you do not have a credit card, please contact the Registrar to make other arrangements.

You will receive an email confirmation of your entry automatically from the MotorsportReg.com system.

Some classes will be combined due to time constraints or limited entries. The race director reserves the right to move any driver from one class to another. 

We run rain or shine. Levanto KRT or KRT Rain tires are permitted at drivers discretion once event has been declared a rain race by race director. Series organizers reserve the right to cancel an event at any time due to prevailing ice or snow.
