Requirements to Race:

• Drivers must hold a valid racing license from an accredited organization like SCCA, NASA, INEX, SVRA, and WRL. Any driver who does not have a valid racing license but has competed in an AMP Racing Series event in 2022 or 2023 will be grandfathered in.
• AMP holds all drivers to a high level of sportsmanship and must follow the AMP Sporting Code at all times when competing in an AMP hosted racing event.
• The sound limit for cars on track is 98db at 50' NO EXCEPTIONS. Please contact Ken Ragan (704) 575-8542 on how to get your car under sound. Ken will have exhause inserts for sale trackside. We will flag you off track on the first violation and give you an opportunity to see Ken and fix it, if after multiple unsuccessful attempts to get under sound, it is at the race directors discretion to retire you from racing for the remainder of the day with no refund. Anyone caught removing sound baffles during the features will be DQ'd and receive zero points.
• The DRIVERS MEETING is MANDATORY for all racers. You must attend to receive your daily drivers band.
• We will be using Westhold Transponders.

2025 Moonshine Series Schedule

Race Format & Season Points:

• The 2025 Moonshiner Series will consist of 5 races over 3 race weekends.  A driver's best 4 finishes will count towards their Season Points total. (November 8th 2x Races @AMP, November 22nd 1x Race @AMS, and December 13th 2x Races at AMP).
• Moonshine Series race format consists of 2x 10 minute Hot Laps Session, 1x 2 Lap Green, White, Checkered Qualifying Session, 2 Feature Races (Lap Count will be determined based on time of day, and subject to change at race director's discretion). 
• 100 Points are awarded for winning the A feature race.  2nd place will receive 97 points, 3rd place will receive 94 points, 4th place will receive 91 points, with 5th place receiving 88 points, subtracting by 2 points per position, as outlined in the INEX rulebook.  For B feature drivers, points are awarded based on an overall scale of A and B features.  (Example - 12 Semi-Pro Drivers total, 7 Semi-Pro Drivers are in the A Feature with 5 drivers in the B feature, the highest running Semi-Pro driver in the B feature will receive points for finishing in 8th place).
• Bandolero Rookies and Legend Chargers will be awarded points for either (if Bandolero, Bandits or Outlaws), (if Legends, Young Lions, Semi-Pro, Masters, or Pro), when you completed your 2025 INEX membership form.  WE WILL NOT BE AWARDING POINTS OR AWARDS TO ROOKIE OR CHARGERS.
• Classes are combined and will practice, qualify and race as Group A and Group B.  Group A will be the fastest 60% of the racers, with Group B being the slower 40% of the total count. Legend and Bandoleros will race separately, but each division (legend or bandolero), may have 1 group based on car count.
• Season winners will be presented their awards immediately following the last race of the season.

How to Spectate:

• All AMP Races are free to spectate. Please bring a camping chair and a portable radio (88.7FM) if you want to hang-out on spectator hill, or come stand on the balcony and listen to our live racing coverage from the building speakers while you watch!
• AMP produces full live broadcast coverage of every race free on YouTube! Coverage includes live commentary, victory lane interviews, FPV drone and instant replay! Watch Live or any previous race On-Demand!
