ADOPT is coming to Sonoma Raceway's road course for an all-day, LIMITED-ENTRY HPDE event focused on TOURING AND TUNING CARS. This event is explicitly designed around encouraging road and race cars to pick up seat time in SMALLER RUN GROUPS OF 25, allowing plenty of room between drivers that ENCOURAGES LEARNING RACING LINES without the pressure of traffic intefering. Thanks to the SMALL RUN GROUPS, ENTRY LEVEL HPDE drivers should be MORE COMFORTABLE, and ADVANCED DRIVERS will have LESS INTERFERENCE DURING HOT LAPS.
ADOPT and our partners are focused on more affordable, older enthusiast platforms that aren't typically seen at Sonoma. To ensure similar performance levels so drivers may measure their driving/skill progress relative to each other, there is an MSRP restriction on the (non-inflation adjusted) value at release. Modification budget is unlimited. Drivers don't need to worry about a GT3RS to contend with as they try to maintain spacing.

MSRP RESTRICTION: This is a tuning- and touring- focused HPDE event; vehicles of chassis codes with base MSRP greater than $50,000 at time of release ARE NOT permitted. Modification budget is unlimited.

Structed similarly to other HPDE events, there are three run groups of 25 drivers each:
DRIVERS: 100 maximum hard limit.
TIME: 8:00am-5:00pm
LAPS: 11 per session; 1 out lap, 10 hot laps (approx. 20-25 mins).
1. BEGINNER, 0-3 track days. Passing only on point bys/signaling on straights.
2. INTERMEDIATE, 5-10 track days. Passing permitted with signaling.
3. ADVANCED, 10+ track days. Open passing.
4. FLEX, changed to above depending on most popular category.
SAFETY: Helmet required. No cages or roll bars necessary.

PASSENGERS: Ride-along with helmet is permitted.
LICENSE: Valid driver's license is mandatory.
REGISTRATION: Vehicle must match registration or driver will be turned away. Qualified drivers which have their own registration may use each other's cars without restriction.
AERO: No restrictions.
TECH: Vehicle must be prepped for track to prevent risk to other drivers.
- Fluid leaks strictly disallowed onto track in any amount.
- Replaced, clean fluids.
- Track-ready brake pads.
- No cracked rotors, glazed pads, corded tires, improperly torqued lug nuts, or unattached body panels.
