The rally season opens on March 14 with the “A π Day Yummy” Time/Speed/Distance rally from the back lot of Washington Square Mall.  The rally will depart from the east side of the mall.  Plan accordingly.  We will gather in the Cafe Court area.

This will be a simple (I hope) rally using the Richta GPS Checkpoint system with quite a few “on course” checkpoints…which won’t pay candy bars like zeroing scored controls will.

Tech and entrant check-in will run from 12:30 to 1:00 with the first car out at about 1:30.  The cost is $30/car.  Non-SCCA drivers will have a $10 SCCA weekend membership requirement too.

Novice and first-timers interested in a quick introduction to road rally terms and concepts should arrive at noon.  This training should be applicable to all SIR/SCCA rallies and will make for a better experience.

The food offerings at the mall are a Noble Roman’s Pizza and KC’s Timeout Lounge.

The mall’s street address is 4800 South Green River Road, Evansville, Indiana  47715.
