Thank you for registering for Renegade Miata Club's Autocross event at Moore Army Airfield.

Cancellation Policy

You must cancel by noon on the day before the event. To cancel, simply navigate to your event dashboard at motorsportreg.com.

Your payment will be processed after registration closes. If you cancel prior to the close of registration you will not be charged. If you cancel after noon on the day before the event, or you do not show up, no refund or credit will be given.

No Show/Late Cancellations

It's not fair to our other drivers on waitlists who miss out or others who work double to cover for no shows. Those who cancel late or do not show up may not be welcome at future events.

Wait List

We accept a maximum of 80 drivers. Anyone registering after we've reached our maximum will automatically be placed on the waitlist. As spots free up, we will move people from the waitlist in the order you registered. Everyone will be notified of their status after the close of registration. You may check your status at any time by logging in to Motorsportreg.com and looking at your event dashboard. If you wish to be taken off the waitlist, please cancel your registration.

Liability Waiver

You must sign a liability waiver before you drive. Please visit our SpeedWaiver site to sign the waiver electronically.

Directions
To get to the event, please follow these directions:

From 495 take exit 79 (Route 2A/110) and turn west toward Ayer.
From either direction, you will make a left turn onto Route 2A. You will follow Route 2A all the way to the Devens airport entrance.
You will go through a rotary about 5.5 miles from 495. Continue on 2A which is the second exit in the rotary (straight across, just past the McDonald’s).
You will then go about 1 mile and be in the center of downtown Ayer. Route 2A will take a right turn just past the main business district; there will be a Mobil station on your left at that corner.
Travel about a half mile to a fork in the road. Bear left to remain on Route 2A.
You will pass Shop N Save Market on your left. Go an additional half mile beyond the market.
Take a left at a sign for a State Police barracks.

You’ll pass a sentry gate at the entrance to the Moore Army Airfield.
Immediately bear left and continue up the hill towards the airport tower. This will take you into the autocross site.

Event Information

Please plan to arrive no later than 8:00 AM so we may check you in, get your car tech inspected and have plenty of time for the driver's meeting.

Approximate Autocross Schedule:

7:00 - 8:00 AM     Gate Opens and arrival.  Please be on time to ensure you have time to have your car pass tech inspection and attend the driver's meeting.
7:30 - 8:45 AM     Sign in and Tech Inspection. Tech inspectors will verify your waiver status and check your driver's license as well as inspect your car.
8:45 AM Driver's Meeting
The course will be open for walking and chalking as soon as the course design is complete
9:00- 9:30 AM      Course Walk - Everyone will walk the course and mark the cone locations with chalk or crayon depending on the absence/presence of tire lubricant falling from the sky.
9:45 AM               Runs Begin  Autocross typically ends around 5 PM. Please be prepared to stay the full day to help us put away the equipment.

This is an all-day event. You are required to work in both the morning and the afternoon. If you miss your work assignment, you will be disqualified from the event. While working on the course, there is no sitting, taking pictures or chatting in groups. If we see you do that, you will only get ONE reminder for the day and it will be a very stern one. Safety is a priority! We reserve the right to discharge anyone from the event who creates unsafe conditions.

Drones or anything resembling a drone ARE NOT permitted at any Renegade Miata Club autocross event.
VERY IMPORTANT: Do NOT speed around town. The local police forces are everywhere in the area. If you get caught doing stupid things around town, you will be asked to leave the event. Speed limit at the site is 5 MPH, except when you are running of course.

Please bring plenty of fluids; you can become dehydrated even when it is cool and cloudy.

We do run in the rain; we will stop if there is lightning. Please bring rain gear and a tarp or bin etc. for all the items you need to take out of your car. You need to come prepared to brave the elements. Bring rain gear and warm clothing if weather warrants it. Also, there is no running water at the site.

There are port-a-potty facilities on site. Please use ONLY these facilities for your on-site bathroom needs.

Tech Inspections

Take everything out of your car and put your numbers on.
Snell 2010 or newer helmets are required and must be in the car for Tech Inspection.
Form two lines in the center of the paddock for tech inspection. If you use tape for car numbers, please use a CONTRASTING color.
