Please join us at the movies as your club says Thank You for being a member of the Arizona Region of the Porsche Club of America. The movie is F-1, a new release (June 28th) starring Brad Pitt. Here is a synopsis:

“The upcoming film F1, directed by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick), stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a former Formula 1 driver who returns to the sport after a devastating crash in the 1990s. Hayes is recruited by his old friend and team owner, Ruben Cervantes (played by Javier Bardem), to mentor a promising rookie, Joshua "Noah" Pearce (Damson Idris), for the fictional APXGP team.

The narrative delves into themes of redemption and rivalry, as Hayes and Pearce navigate the challenges of the racing world. The film is noted for its commitment to authenticity, featuring real F1 teams and drivers, and was shot during actual Grand Prix weekends. Both Pitt and Idris underwent extensive training to perform high-speed driving sequences themselves.”

We have room for only 169 members, so sign up early. Last year was a sell-out. The cutoff date to register is June 28th at midnight.

PLEASE NOTE: There are 169 seats available in their largest theater. That means some of you will be sitting in the front rows where the view is up close and personal. If you think you won’t like that, get there early for the best seats.
