4th Annual Creston Grass Drags are coming in hot! Did you come watch last year and wish you were participating?? Then come on out and join the fun! Classes for all ages and machines!
This is one event you absolutely can’t afford to miss, it’s going to be an AMAZING day of family-friendly, fun!
Here’s what you’ve got to look forward to:
Snowmobile Grass Drags:
Where? 305 Kootenay River Road, Creston (Same location as last year!)
When? Sept. 26, 2026, Gates open at 8am, Racing starts at 10am
-Admission is just $10 at the gate for adults (ages 1-6 free, 7-12 $5)
-Racer entry is $20 per class (tether is mandatory)
-Registration from 7am-9am
-Food and snacks on-site
-Beer gardens on-site with Wild North Brewing
-A kids' sled race at halftime that’s guaranteed to be the cutest showdown of the season
Event requirements
Racing requirements!
Mandatory tether, kill switch, helmet, eye protection and closed toed footwear.
Tek vests for open open class when running a sled with a picked track.
All young riders have to be confident on their machine. If they can't safely operate their sled they will be asked to park it.
Class Breakdown
**When registering your machine select OTHER for "Make" then type in make of machine**
Mini Sleds- Kids on 120cc and 200cc
Vintage- Any stock sled 1995 and older. Just a fun class for the older machines
Stock 600,700,800,900/850,1000- Aftermarket muffler (can) allowed. Factory clutching components allowed. No ECU flash/ reprogramming allowed
Turbo Stock- Factory turbo, must use OE turbo
Improved 600,700,800,900/850,1000- Any engine/clutching modifications ie. porting, high compression, intake/exhaust, ECU flash/programming. Only 2 major chassis modifications ie. Aftermarket suspension, lightweight panels, headlight delete etc. Must maintain OE ride height.
Turbo Improved- Must use OE turbo
Mod 600,700,800,900/850,1000- Any engine/clutching modifications including aftermarket engines. Naturally aspirated only- No Nitrous. Chassis modifications allowed ie. Light weight components, suspension tie downs.
Turbo Mod- Aftermarket turbos and kits allowed, up to 1200cc
Open Mod- Anything goes, Nitrous allowed, NO traction
Open-Open: Anything goes, traction devices
All Classes
Traction devices only in Open Open
OEM clutch cover minimum- Open mod & Open Open follow ISR clutch cover Regulations
