Calling all VARAC members, please join us for a one-day vintage racing event - the Peter Jackson Trophy Races at Shannonville Motorsport Park (SMP). This event, named in honour of our dear friend and tireless volunteer, Peter Jackson, takes place on Saturday July 11.

Set up any time after 5 pm on Friday, July 10. Potluck BBQ starts around 7 pm – contact Ted Michalos to discuss food items to bring.

Entry fee: $350 for VARAC members. Cards will be charged July 3.

Race groups include:

• Vintage Historic
• Classic Modern Classic
• Formula Classic

All races will run on the Pro Track (2.47 km). 4 sessions for VARAC run groups on Saturday: P, Q, and 2
races. All VARAC sessions will run 20 minutes.

Entrants running on one of the VARAC grids must meet one of the following licensing requirements:

• hold a current VARAC VMC Licence,
• be a VARAC member with a current CASC-OR Racing Licence,
• hold a current FSAQ Licence with CVQ membership
• hold a current VMC license or be members of a recognized Vintage Race Club.

All cars must meet the requirements of 2026 CASC-OR Race Regulations.

Mandatory Drivers’ Meeting at 8 am July 11 by the CASC-OR trailer.

Awards presentations for ALL VARAC run groups at 4 pm at the CASC-OR trailer.

Note—there is no fuel supply at SMP -plan accordingly
