National Capital Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America is pleased to announce details for our 2026 Annual Meeting & Club Picnic!

- Mary's Land Farm is a perfect venue for this family-friendly event. Come and join fellow car enthusiasts as we showcase our cars, enjoy great food, win prizes and have - some fun with family and friends!

- We'll have a huge pavilion that provides shade, a place for food and drinks to be served, and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the day.

- Unfortunately, no outside pets are allowed at Mary's Land Farm.  However, there are two separate petting zoos on location, including one right next to our pavillion.

- Adults can enjoy viewing the Monaco F1 and IMSA Mid-Ohio races, Cars and Coffee, friends & family photo booth, farm store and more!

- Kids activities at this family-friendly farm include multiple animal petting zoos, a Megaslide, kids play areas and more!

- 40th Anniversary of M3 Display: Submit your M3 (any M3 chassis) for a special parking display area honoring one of BMW's most iconic cars!

Steve Saxty is the author of BMW Behind The Scenes, the three-book set that won the 2024 RAC Book of the Year. To write them, he was granted an unusually high level of access to BMW’s design department because he is not a conventional motoring author, but a former industry executive with firsthand experience across design, product, marketing, and brand strategy.

He began his career at Ford in product design before moving into sales and marketing roles at Mazda and Porsche, and later at Jaguar, where he led global advertising. He also built a long career in consulting and on the agency side, including responsibility for global brand strategy for Nissan and VW media in the USA. Today, he is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading automotive authors and is currently at work on his next BMW books.
