Welcome to your back roads driving adventure to the Hilton Head Concours!

Join the merry gang from Great Race on an all-inclusive journey from Nashville, Tennessee to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina! All you have to do is meet us at the Lane Motor Museum in your favorite fun car on Monday, October 26th, and we have the rest of it handled! This is an "arm out the window" scenic tour, and the route is already planned for you, with turn by turn directions, visits to incredible car collections, fun hosted meals with friends, and hotels from the night of October 26th through the night of November 1st.

Registration is $5,999 which includes hotels, hosted meals, a souvenier route book, plus access to our turn by turn directions on Rallista. Bring any fun car you like, vintage or modern, we just ask that is can travel at speeds of at least 60 mph to keep a good pace.

Monday, October 26

Get yourself and your favorite car to the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville, Tennessee. Plan to arrive by 2:00pm, and you’ll be able to get to know the rest of the group, along with getting your route books and other important information. The Lane Museum is going to have special cars out and about for us to experience, along with special access to the museum and a tour of the collection of hundreds of cars most people have never seen before- you’ll love it. We have a hosted hotel that evening in Nashville with a fun musical theme, and a great dinner for the group. 

Tuesday, October 27

First driving day! Leaving Nashville, TN on our favorite scenic roads, we head towards Chattanooga, TN. We’ll be met by our friends at Coker Tire, who are putting on a very special experience for us, including a visit to Honest Charley Garage and the Coker Museum. Leaving Chattanooga, our group continues on fun roads through little towns and places of amazing scenic beauty, all the way to our first night in the hills of Georgia. We'll celebrate the day at a hosted dinner, with a great bar available for telling stories of the road! 

Wednesday, October 28

Second driving day, let's go! Fans of such bands as the B-52s and REM will be happy to take the back roads to another cool town- Athens, Georgia! We'll have a hosted lunch at an incredible private car collection- maybe two- and then migrate on to Augusta, GA for our second hosted overnight. You guessed it, a great hotel, a fun scene, and more camaraderie with the group with a rooftop flair.

Thursday, October 29

Day three- Augusta to Hilton Head Island! More fun roads, more roadside adventures, and a famous "low country boil" on the water before we should arrive in Hilton Head. You'll have a little time at the hotel to settle in, and you'll stay at our host hotel for the Concours through Sunday night. We have a special VIP party and dinner to attend at Hilton Head, and you'll be able to display your car at the same time. There is also a secret stop we're not telling you about until you get there!

Friday, October 30

You've got your choice of activities during the day, but the crowd favorite is the Low Country Driving Tour! Running from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, you'll experience the scenic roads of Hilton Head Island and the surrounding areas, side by side with the cars to be displayed at the Concours. This includes a coffee stop and a hosted lunch, and a fantastic tour through the spanish moss. 

Saturday, October 31

We are hosted all day as VIP guests of the Concours, as well a part of the display on the golf course with hundreds of other fantastic cars. We are part of the judging, so you may even bring home a trophy! This is a very special occasion, with a car parade in front of the crowd, as well as hosted food and drink all day. You'll also meet Dennis Gage from My Classic Car, along with many other automotive dignitaries and fellow attendees. Style points will be awarded for costumes, because you guessed it- it's Halloween!

Sunday, November 1

VIP access to the main event, the Hilton Head Concours d’Elegance. You’ll see some of the finest cars on the show circuit and have the opportunity to meet more of your automotive heroes in attendance. We’ll gather on the show field for a final send-off in the afternoon, with a special toast to the adventure! 

Monday, November 2

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and then head for home.
