SOVREN Moves to Portland International Raceway for the 24th Annual Columbia River Classic
Join us! This exciting two-day event will take place on September 5-6, 2026.

The 12th US Bugatti Grand Prix™ will be joining SOVERN’s ‘Columbia River Classic’ at Portland International Raceway. For additional information on the 2026 International Bugatti event, follow this prompt .
All British Field Meet (ABFM): The ABFM will be joining us for their 49th year. Spend time browsing the Saturday Car Show in the grass or the swap meet on Sunday.
Race Pricing:
- Two Day
- Early Bird Registration: Ends August 20, 2026 - $575
- Discounted Price: August 21-August 30 - $675
- Full Price: After August 30 - $725
- Payment: Credit Cards will be charged at the completion of registration.
Paper Entry: Pending Do NOT mail paper forms after Aug 28th, contact the registrar and bring completed forms to the track.
Online registration closes on Aug 30th. To register after this date, please contact SOVREN Registrar, Sherri Masterson. (After online registration closes, the price increases to $725.)
Each race group will have multiple races during the weekend plus qualifying, providing plenty of track time.
Move-In: Friday, September 4th, 8 AM (Please do not enter before this time)

Important Notes:
- Even if you pre-pay, you MUST go to the on-site registration to check in and receive your credentials for the event. Friday registration will be in the paddock near the start/finish line in the grass under the BIG trees. Look for the big feather flags that say "registration." Saturday and Sunday registration will be outside the main gate.
- The gate for this event is controlled by the All British Field Meet. To avoid having your crew pay the entry fee, they need to go through registration before it closes.
- Spectator Pricing is pending.

Driver Orientation: The new driver
- We understand that many drivers have years of experience in other clubs, venues, and circuits and hold appropriate licenses and are either new to Vintage racing, or new to SOVREN. This program gives insight information to how SOVREN approaches Vintage Racing concepts, on track expectations, and conduct in the Vintage Spirit..
- Our Orientation program is designed to meet the needs of the new driver (just completing the competition licensing process) the very experienced driver new to SOVREN/Vintage racing or returning driver to racing.

- You will need a prepared car, a current competition license or accredited racing school certificate, and a current medical form completed.
- ProFormance Racing School has two dates before Spring Sprints: March 21-22, April 11-12. May 28-29.Contact the school for other dates available in the year.
- A Driver just returning to racing will need current lapping/track time experience prior to entering the orientation program.

Event requirements
Membership Requirements:
- Each driver must hold a valid, current, recognized full competition license to race with SOVREN. To obtain your SOVREN Competition License, you will need a Racer Membership, current medical, and meet the requirements of experience and competition schools. (See "Drivers New to SOVREN - Orientation" below.)
- We honor all Vintage Motorsports Council (VMC) licenses and current SCCA or IRDC licenses. Please have your expiration date handy when continuing your registration process.
- Each driver must either be a SOVREN Racer Member or purchase a Guest membership for the weekend. A Guest membership is available within the event registration process. An annual membership is available at msreg.com/mem26.
COVID-19 Regulations:
SOVREN will follow current regulations, rules, and any mandates for the state of Washington, King County and Pacific Raceways.
Frontal Head Restraint (FHR) Devices: FHR devices are mandatory with SOVREN.
Cancelation Policy: 2026 Change, details are in the registration form after you push the “Register Now” button.
Cars must be vintage correct, and race prepared. Entrants with vehicles not already on file with SOVREN since 2014 must file a Car Registration Form. ( Paper or Online) Please download a form and follow mailing/emailing directions
