Reserved Parking space Guidelines and Rules

Reserved on-site parking and trailer storage guidelines and rules - March, 2026

Pit space is intended solely for equipment necessary for active members to enjoy the sport of karting – not for storage of other vehicles or equipment, or for use as trailer parking/storage for inactive or non members.

Any equipment stored on CKRC grounds contrary to the terms below must be promptly removed upon the request of the CKRC Board or Club Manager.
_____________________________________________________________________________

  1. Reserved pit spaces are only for members to make use of during race and practice events, allowing a trailer or other acceptable storage to be kept at the track.
  2. Pit space is for trailer storage, pit tents, or other uses as approved by the Board. Vehicles are to be parked in designated areas only.
  3. No business of any kind is to be conducted anywhere on the CKRC grounds unless agreed to by the CKRC Board.
  4. On occasion, the Club may request that a trailer be moved for cleaning, maintenance, special events, or other reasons. It is the responsibility of the pit space occupant to move their equipment promptly when requested by the Club.  If the occupant does not move their equipment in a timely manner, the Club may move the equipment, and will not be responsible for damage that may occur during the move.
  5. Rates for paddock pit spaces are charged on an annual basis, from April 1st to March 31st of the following year, and may be adjusted as decided by the Board.
  6. Rates may be adjusted annually, as decided by the Board.
  7. DO NOT park vehicles on pit runners. This will damage the runner. Do not turn the steering tires of a stationary tow vehicle while they are on the pit runners, as damage may result.
  8. DO NOT unload your trailer onto the pit runner while others may need to drive on it. Please keep runners clear AT ALL TIMES to allow for passage of karts, tow-vehicles and trailers.
  9. The pit runner space extends 10 feet on either side of the center line of the runner – runners are spaced to allow either 3 or 4 10 x 10 spots between them (30 or 40 feet). If your trailer with doors open or ramp down does not fit within this space then you may be required to move to an area that accommodates longer trailers.
  10. Any fuel stored in a trailer must be in an approved, sealed container. Maximum of 2 containers, each with a maximum 20L capacity may be kept in any trailer.
  11. The CKRC offers only parking space and is not responsible for any damage, theft or vandalism of any kind to the space renter's property, trailer, RV or contents.
  12. You agree to maintain your pit space as described below and may have your parking privileges revoked without refund in the event of a violation.  By proceeding with pit space rental, you agree that:
  13. You will be responsible for cutting the grass in your space and under your trailers.
  14. You are responsible for keeping your space clean and free of debris or contamination. This includes the space underneath the trailer, which must be kept clear when the trailer is not in active use for practice or race day.
  15. There is to be no storage of used coolant, oils or other fluids on the ground whether in a container or not.
  16. If a ground covering is laid down in your pit area, it must be pulled up at the end of each day. The only things touching the ground should be your trailer tires and the tongue support of the trailer. Ground cover is only permitted to be left in place on the soil stabilized area of the paddock and must always be kept in good condition.
  17. You will provide a working fire extinguisher as described in the ASN Kart Sporting regulations – as updated from time to time. The fire extinguisher must be in plain sight and always within an arms-reach of the door.
  18. On a race-day, your pit space is reserved until 9:00am. If you are not occupying the space by that time, any other racer can utilize your space for the day.
