The past two Ironstone events have been so overwhelmingly popular -- 90% of our members reserved their rooms upon checkout last year --  for 2024!  A few rooms might be left in downtown Murphys at the Historic Murphys Hotel.  Some members will be arriving in Murphys on Thursday, September 25 while the remainder will arrive on the 26th.  

VERY IMPORTANT: The Victoria Inn is BOOKED!  There are multiple lodging accomodations, particularly in Angels Camp, a short distance away – lodging is separate from this registration and will be your responsibility!!  Murphys is also proximate to historic towns such as Columbia, Sonora and others.

There will be PCA-Redwood Events (tours, BBQ dinner, etc.) driving up to, and while in Murphys. More to come on these events soon.

There are also plenty of wineries, shops, restaurants and back roads to be explored individually depending on your tastes.

For 28 years the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance has been held on the 1100-acre estate of the Ironstone Vineyards Winery and Historic Museum in Murphys, California; in the heart of the famous 1849 California Gold Rush.

The show features over 300 period-correct automobiles including classic, vintage, antique and race cars, vintage trailers, and commercial/military vehicles as well as agricultural engines and a display of modern exotic cars. Unique to Ironstone is the pre-1920 race on a dirt track, Amphicar rides in the lake and a race car engine start.

Featured vehicle marques vary from year to year—such names as Packard, Duesenberg, Pierce-Arrow, BMW, Corvette, Studebaker, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. Special classes spotlight early Fords, streamlined cars, sports cars, exotics, race cars, coachbuilt luxury marques plus significant unrestored and original automobiles.

Proceeds from the Ironstone Concours d’Elegance benefit Central and Northern California youth in agriculture, notably Future Farmers of America (FFA) and 4-H. In addition, the nonprofit Ironstone Foundation has helped fund the California State FFA headquarters in Galt, California; scholarships in partnership with the California State Fair; and the Calaveras County Fair scholarship program.
