Member Appreciation Lunch 2024
Red Top Mountain Acworth GA, Shelter 1
Saturday, July 13, 2024 12:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.
All Peachtree Section members are invited to bring one guest to the 2024 Free Member Appreciation Barbecue! Children under the age of 10 may attend free. Additional guest will be $7.50 each.
To enter the park, you’ll need an annual Georgia Park Pass or a daily pass available at the park entry booth for $5 per vehicle. The group shelter 1 at Red Top Mountain State Park is a fully enclosed, air-conditioned building and includes kitchen facilities, and free parking. The back deck overlooks Lake Allatoona.
We’ll enjoy a full menu of home-made, traditional barbecue fare: BBQ pulled pork, Brunswick stew, molasses baked beans, several salads, walnut brownies, and beverages.
Note: No dogs are allowed inside of the Shelter.

Driving directions: Take I-75 to exit #285 (Red Top Mountain Road). Go two miles east to Red Top Mountain State Park. We will be in Shelter 1.
