HSR Media Hardcard Application Criteria:
Media credentials are issued only to individuals working on assignment from a recognized media organization that regularly provides original news/event coverage. This includes newspapers, magazines, news services, racing publications, television and radio. It does NOT include credentials for spouses or significant others. Media credentials are generally not provided to freelance photographers or stock photo services who are unable to provide an affiliation to a credible and approved media outlet.
*Individuals assigned to cover a single event or less than three (3) HSR events in a calendar year should apply for media credentials on an event-by-event basis. Season long credentials are available on a limited basis and should only be applied or if you are assigned to cover four (4) or more 2023 events.
Event requirements
Requirements to Media Hardcard Submission:
- Complete Annual Waiver (signed and witnessed)
- Provide a Letter of Assignment issued by a recognized media organization, authorized/signed by an editor, producer or appropriate authority at the outlet specifying which HSR events will be attended and coverage to be provided.
- If your media outlet covered events in 2022 or 2021, please include a list and copy of coverage.
Please note: NO IMAGES CAPTURED AT AN HSR EVENT BY INDIVIDUAL CARRYING HSR-PROVIDED MEDIA CREDENTIALS ARE TO BE SOLD .
*Internet Only sites will be considered if they are the original news content provider. Enthusiasts, blog, fan websites, or those that cover one team and/or drivers will not be approved for a media credential. Crew/Guests credentials can be attached to an event entry for that team.
No application will be processed until all required documents are received. Application submission DOES NOT guarantee approval.
