RMVR Is Celebrating Our ELEVENTH YEAR Supporting The Morgan Adams Foundation

"Getting Back On Track"

SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTE TO REGISTRANTS:
Due to the current COVID-19 environment, our 2021 events will be conducted with the same COVID protocols used at our 2020 Events. This, by the way, worked very well and did NOT diminish the quality of the racing experience.  Sadly, socializing aspects were compromised. But we’re all getting used to that, are we not?  Please honor distancing measures and enhanced cleaning protocols. And a strong request that masks be worn when  roaming the pits to socialize at a distance.  We are expected to adhere to all city, county, state and health department guidelines with respect to social distancing and maximum group sizes.  Thank you for your understanding in these difficult circumstances.with respect to social distancing and maximum group sizes.

We are once again excited about the prospect of making a significant impact on the Morgan Adams Foundation (MAF), a great organization dedicated to pediatric cancer research. Over the past ten years we’ve raised over $1,250,000 for MAF.  With everyone's help, we can dramatically add to this total to continue supporting pediatric cancer research studies.  This will help doctors better understand, diagnose, and treat tumors. By participating in the Race Against Kids’ Cancer race weekend, you are directly impacting and improving the lives of children with cancer.  The weekend promises once again to be a premier RMVR event. You won’t want to miss it either as a racer or as a spectator. This is our premier event for the year.  There will not just be incredible racing. The entire weekend's events will help support a worthy cause: funding research on cancer in children.  Entrants are encouraged to make a donation when entering.  Spectators can donate at the gate.

  • Our Eleventh Annual Race Against Kids’ Cancer to benefit the Morgan Adams Foundation.
  • T-shirts will be available for purchase and provided free to entrants who raise over $50 (Hint: donate when you register to get your free shirt.)
  • Prizes will be given to those raising the most money.
  • A silent Virtual Silent Auction for neat goodies will be held in the days prior to the weekend with an opportunity to continue bidding Saturday at the track.
  • Again this year there will be a Fun'd Race featuring the ability to do GRID BIDS FOR KIDS. A donation will let you bump your buddies to the back or to even bump yourself up to the front. All in good FUN. Details will be announced later.
  • We're hoping to have limited, but very special Lunch-Time-Rides.
  • Keep your fingers crossed for some ProAm racing
  • Like last year, we'll have a Saturday Night COVID COMPLIANT Dinner --  Dinner tickets can be purchased by racers when registering.  If you are attending as a spectator and wish to enjoy the Saturday evening dinner, please purchase tickets on Saturday in the Paddock at the MAF desk.
  • We will once again have after-race festivities, including dinner and drinks – please be assured everyone’s health and safety are of paramount concern to the RAKC Planning Committee, RMVR and MAF.  All social gatherings will be coordinated and monitored so as to maintain and maximize appropriate COVID safety standards.

A Featured Run Group” for 2021 is still To Be Determined !!    In past years RAKC has always had a "Featured Run Group" which is always met with great success.  We are working on the group to be featured for 2021 and will announce it soon.

Friday T&T will be Exclusive to RMVR making for THREE days of cool on-track experience:    Again this year, will be that Friday HPR Test & Tune will be Exclusively for RMVR racers, its members and our "guest" racers.    Even if you're not entered for the weekend RMVR members can sign up for the Exclusive RMVR T&T day.  No “track day folks” or other interlopers on track to cope with or using up paddock space.  Sign up  directly with HPR for the extra day of track time on Friday.  Regular prices apply.  But it will just be us RMVR chickens on track.  Plus Friday will have some added features like professional drivers on-site to do some coaching, And probably a beer garden Friday evening.  More details to follow.

You can Donate to MAF when entering  the race by indicating your donation to be added to your entry.  Or if you aren't entering the race, you can donate RIGHT HERE directly to MAF.
