Happy New Year! As we ring in the New Year, it’s time for our annual Kick-Off Party filled with food, BMW M School and HPDE raffles as well as interacting with a fantastic speaker. We’ll also share a full list of exciting activities planned for the chapter in 2018. You won’t want miss it!
The activities for the year begin at Century BMW’s brand-new facility on Saturday, February 3 at 12pm. Lunch will be served shortly after noon. Headlining the event is James Clay, President of BimmerWorld. James began selling used parts during his college days to fund his HPDE events. That blossomed into a BMW-based professional IMSA Continental Tire Series race team and leading supplier of OEM, performance and race parts. In addition to his IMSA racing schedule, 2017 brought a number of firsts including racing a M235i at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring, building an E92 M3 to compete at the Pikes Peak Hill Climb and celebrating BimmerWorld’s 20th anniversary. Interact with James and listen to him share experiences racing the cars we drive on the road as well as what it’s like to pilot the new M4 GT4. We also have some great prizes for you. Have you ever wanted to drive someone else’s M car like you stole it with no worries? We’re giving away a seat at our BMW Performance Center M School Club day in March! Drive the M3, M4 and new M5 around BMW’s own track near Greenville, SC. We’re also raffling off a slot to our HPDE in September in addition a number of other prizes.
