Come kick off the SCCA Chicago Region's 70th anniversary year at the 2018 Checkered Flag Party at Lake Forest Sportscars on Saturday, February 17. Not only will you be able socialize with your SCCA friends, you will have the opportunity to meet some of our past Regional Executives, view spectacular sports cars and take a test ride in a Ferrari if you wish. Many thanks for Lake Forest Sportscars for once again opening their fantastic facility to our club and offering fun with Ferraris.
Ferrari rides begin at 4 p.m. and run until 6 p.m. There is a social hour for past Regional Executives starting at 4 p.m. as well. Social time for all members runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. We'll be entertained by a jazz trio, and complementary beer, wine, soda and appetizers will be served. The buffet dinner is at 7 p.m. Starting at 8:30 p.m., the region will present its awards for 2017, including Driver, Worker and Soloist of the Year.
People 16 years of age and older are welcome. The ticket price is $35 per person. Due to site restrictions, children under 16 may not attend this event.
