2017 Pinehurst Concours d'Elegance

The 2017 Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance will be staged at the world-renowned Pinehurst Resort, where the best of golf will meet the top collector cars, while helping honor some of the United States’ bravest men and women. The fifth annual Pinehurst Concours takes place on Saturday, May 6, 2017, with some of the most historic and rare automobiles staged on the fairways of the iconic golf resort. We have planned a weekend full of events around this growing Concours for MBCA members, fellow car enthusiasts and their guests. The events range from Road Rallies, Restoration Shop tours, venues to display your car in show & shine car shows to social group dinners at outstanding local pubs and restaurants. The Triangle Section members are looking forward to hosting this great event and meeting fellow MBCA members and car enthusiasts from across the country.

Thursday May 4th Schedule
4:00 pm - 7:00 pm "An Evening with the Stars" Show and Shine car show held at Little River Golf & Resort www.littlerivernc.com The show is open to all MBCA members and non members. We will be doing "Silver Star Preservation" judging for members’ cars at this event. If you would like to have your car judged please download this form Silver Star Preservation and fill it out prior to the event. For more information on "Silver Star Preservation" visit MBCA.org. 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm Group dinner open to members and guest on the ground of Little River Golf & Resort. The diner will be a "Carolina Barbeque" featuring a wide variety of Tarheel delicacies. Non alcohol beverages are included and cash bar will be available. Cost of the dinner is $30.00 per person including tax and gratitude. Tickets for the diner will be purchased at the door.
Friday May 5th Schedule
9:00 am - 12:00 pm Fun Run Road Rally to North Carolina Pottery Country, Seagrove, NC. At the end of the rally there will be an overview of the unique history of pottery in Seagrove, a visit to 3 potters shops and group lunch (cost of lunch not included in fee) www.ncpotterycenter.org Event cost $10.00 per person

4:30 pm - 8:00 pm "Cinco de Mercedes" Show & Shine Car Show in the Village Center of Pinehurst www.pinehurst.com There is no cost to display your car at this event. There will be MBCA club member judging for Best of AMG's and Club Members Choice at his event. Awards will be presented at Saturdays Award Banquet Dinner. Space for this show is limited so reserve your space early. We plan on having a special display area for AMG Mercedes, so if you have a AMG we would love to see your car displayed.
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MBCA Group dinner at Dugan's Pub in the Village of Pinehurst www.duganspub.net Seating is limited and reservations are a must. MBCA members and theirs guests pay for their food and beverages.
Saturday May 6th Schedule
8:00 am Cars of the Fairway Club staging. The "Fairway Club" is Pinehurst version of Cars & Coffee and is held the same day of the Concours d'Elegance on the fairway next to Concours field. The "Club" is made up of club cars and the MBCA has a limited number of spaces on the show field. There is an additional fee to enter your car in the "Club" of $99.00 + tax. If you are accepted into the club with your entrance fee you will receive 2 tickets for the Concours (a $80.00 value) the best parking and viewing spot for the concert at the event. The balance of the fee will be donated to US Armed Forces charities. There will be peer judging at this event and for Best of the SL class and the Tri-Star Award for best on the field non SL. These awards will be presented at the Saturday Awards Banquet dinner. 11:00 am - 2:30 pm MBCA Departure Brunch at Filly & Colts restaurant fillyandcolts.com on the ground of Little River Golf & Resort. Cost of the Brunch is $14.95 plus tax and gratitude.
For the "Early Birds" a Breakfast Buffet is available at Filly & Colts from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Cost of the Breakfast Buffet is $9.95 plus tax and gratitude.
Event Lodging
