NOTE:  Wherever possible Atlanta Region strives for “seamless” qualifying sessions with the race groups.  After the checkered flag, as the last car of the first Group exits the track at Turn 11, the staged Group will be released.  Clean up will be after the every other Group.  Any stranded cars from the initial Group will be covered by the appropriate flag(s) for the following session.

Corner Marshal meeting at the bridge. All Race Staff report to stations

7:15 am

– 30 minutes after last Qualifier

Tech Inspection open (those with current Tech & Gear decals can bring log book only). 

Scales Open after initial rush.  Priority will be given to Impounded cars.

7:50 am

Group 1 cars may proceed to grid quietly (no revving of race engines)

8:00 am

Green Course

20 Minute Qualifying session Group 1 (See “Seamless” NOTE Above)

20 Minute Qualifying session Group 2 followed by track clean-up

20 Minute Qualifying session Group 3

20 Minute Qualifying session Group 4 followed by track clean-up

20 Minute Qualifying session Group 5a & 5b combined(Qualify together; Race separately)
