NOTE: When possible Atlanta Region strives for “seamless” qualifying sessions with the race groups.  After the checkered flag and the last car of the first Group exits the track, the staged Group will be released.  Clean up will be after the every other Group.  Any stranded cars from the initial Group will be covered by the appropriate flag(s) for the following session.

Corner Marshal meeting at the Bridge. All Race Staff report to stations

– 30 minutes after last Qualifier

Tech Inspection open (those with current Annual Tech can bring log book only). 

Scales Open after initial rush.  Priority will be given to Impounded cars.

7:45 am

Group 1 cars proceed to grid – NO revving of engines!

15 Minute Qualifying    Groups 1 thru 8 consecutively

 

20 Minute Qualifying    Group 9 (Pro-IT)

 

30 Minute Practice         Group 10 (Trans-Am)

Lunch; Mandatory Drivers’ Meeting in the Chalet 10 minutes after start of the lunch break

 

NOTE:  For Friday afternoon sessions, Groups 3 and 6 will have 6-lap races unless a majority of the drivers request otherwise.  All other groups will have 15-minute timed sessions unless a majority of the drivers request otherwise.
