About this event
Peachtree Chapter BMW CCA Driving Events Committee would like you to join us for our third Driving Instructor Seminar (for existing instructors only - this is NOT a training for new instructor candidates).
All Peachtree BMWCCA instructors are invited to attend our third Instructor Continuing Education Seminar on February 27th from 8:30 AM-12:00 noon. The objective of our seminars is to utilize the knowledge and skills of our instructors and special guest speakers to present and discuss topics that will improve our instructing techniques.
We are very fortunate this year to have professional driver and coach, David Murry as our guest speaker. David not only brings his driving experience from a successful 30 year professional racing career, but is also an experienced and sought after driving coaches for professional and amateur drivers. David’s racing experience allows him to quickly evaluate driving performance and give valuable feedback to drivers building their skills.
Learn more about David at http://davidmurry.com
In addition to David sharing his perspective on how to be effective instructors he will also present a segment on the use of data acquisition systems to improve driver skills. These systems are becoming more cost effective and prevalent at our driving events and we will outline an approach for their use in the driver education environment.
There is no charge but we ask you register for the event through Motorsportreg.com so we will have adequate food and drink for the event. If you plan changes and you cannot attend after registering please cancel through Motorsportreg.com.
We look forward to seeing you at the seminar.
