Event requirements
1. RULES: This event is governed by the 2009 SCCA General Competition Rules, 2009 SCCA Time Trials Rules, 2009 SEDiv Time Trials Rules, 2009 SEDiv ECR Rules, 2009 SEDiv Regional Racing Class Rules, and any amendments as published in the FasTrack racing bulletins section of SportsCar magazine.
2. ENTRIES: Entry is open to all qualified applicants in the order received. Each TT driver may enter only one car (no multi-car entries). Send entry fees (cash or check), payable to the Buccaneer Region SCCA, to: Karen Drum, 13924 Lucia Riverbend Hwy, Mt. Holly, NC 28120. The Registrar can be contacted at (H) 704-970-6216, (W) 704-827-7523 (9am-5pm, race related calls—bypass “parts”) There is no late fee. “No-Show” checks will be shredded.
3. DRIVER ELIGIBILITY: ECR: Holders of current SCCA Novice Permits (w/ Drivers Schools completed), SCCA Regional and National Competition licenses are eligible. Track Trials: Holders of current SCCA Competition License, SCCA Track Trials License, Track Trials Novice License, and/or an SCCA Novice Competition License are eligible to compete. Please call ahead to assure your eligibility if another competition license is involved.
4. VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION: As per SCCA General Competition Rules, SEDiv ECR Rules, and SCCA Time Trials Rules. SEDiv Permanent numbers will be issued first and will be held until November 7, 2009. All other numbers will be issued on a first come first service basis. In cars with multiple drivers (TT), it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the correct car number is on the car for his/her timed run.
5. CAR ELIGIBILITY: ECR: Open to all competition vehicles conforming to the current SCCA General Competition Rules and SEDiv ECR rules. Track Trials: Open to all competition vehicles conforming to the current SCCA Time Trials Rules and the SCCA General Competition Rules. Annual Technical Inspections will be honored. Scales will be setup at this event and all cars are subject to being weighed.
6. ENTRY PASSES: Each entry is entitled to six passes, including the driver and entrant and four additional crew. Only crew who are SCCA members will be allowed access to the trackside of pit fence. Memberships may be purchased at Registration. Members must present their SCCA membership card in order to register.
