14th CSRG Charity Challenge

Northern California’s Classic Sports Racing Group, currently celebrating its 50th season, will hold its 14th Annual Charity Challenge at Sonoma Raceway on the weekend of September 29-October 1, 2017. The event will include all the usual CSRG race groups, with Vintage and Historic race cars dating from the 1930s to the 1990s, running in nine race groups, including our feature groups, the Can-Am Mini Challenge for the original Austin Mini & its variants, as well as the final round of the 2017 Crossflow Cup, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Formula Ford.

In its first thirteen years, the CSRG Charity Challenge Series has raised almost a million dollars in contributions to the Sonoma Chapetr of the Speedway Children’s Charities.

Highlighting the fund-raising activities will be a raffle of both racing-related and non-racing items, and the always popular Charity Track Rides on both Saturday & Sunday in cars that will be competing during the weekend.

The schedule kicks off with open practice on Friday afternoon before moving to full days of practice and racing on both Saturday and Sunday, with each of the race groups on track twice each day.

There will be a Food Court with a wide variety of food and beverages in the area in front of the Racetrack Cafe in the Paddock.

Fees: CSRG requires all drivers be either a Full Racing Member of CSRG, or a Single-event Member.  Our friends from other racing organizations may choose the Single-event Membership for $75, but we encourage you to consider joining CSRG as a Full Racing Member ($150/yr) and enjoy the full benefits of membership throughout the year.  Full Racing Members of CSRG who haven't renewed their membership for this year can renew at <csrg.motorsportsreg.com> before completing their race entry.
