The 13th Annual Vintage Motorsports Festival at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park
NEWS NEWS NEWS NEWS
Hello VMF13 Racers, Safety Crew and Family,
We hope you and your family are well, and we look forward to racing at Thompson again this year!
Our event this year will take place on Thursday, June 18th through Saturday June 20th.
- We will start load-in Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
- The test day will be run by the track on Thursday, scheduled from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Registration for the test day is via the track web link or "day of" at the track.
- The test day cost will be $200 for the day.
Also, by popular demand we will again be doing a dinner in the Speedway Clubhouse with a program that will include driver awards. We are asking upon registration if the driver will be attending the dinner and how many others will join. This will be the same for volunteers. Even though you get two free dinner tickets when you register , you will be asked if you'll be attending. This will ensure an accurate count for planning purposes, making a better dinner program experience for all while minimizing event costs.
To ensure that we can continue to hold this event for years to come please help us by spreading the word and encouraging others to attend this great example of a "grass roots" vintage event.
As always, our partners at the VSCCA and the entire VRG team would like to thank you for your loyalty. We look forward to seeing you at the track soon and wish all the best to you and your families.
Sincerely,
John Jeffery

Tire Rules
VRG tire rules will be used for entrants running in VRG Race Groups. Historic Race Group (HRG) is a guest racing organization of VRG for this event and HRG members are allowed to follow their own HRG tire rules which include any DOT approved tire. This includes DOT approved competition tires such as Hoosier R7s & Toyo Proxes and any treaded racing tire designated as Vintage or Historic by the manufacturer. This exception for allowance of HRG's tire rules is only permitted for HRG members. Except for the HRG feature race, HRG members will be mixed within VRG run groups but will be classed within HRG's Timing and Scoring.
If you are running as an HRG member be sure you select the appropriate Group number.
Please be sure to select the correct car classification when you register.
If you any questions regarding the tire rules or wish to ask for an exemption, please contact John Jeffery via email: john5102694@gmail.com
