The Board is excited to announce that our club has been selected for the Special Display at this year's Rockville Antique and Classic Car Show on Saturday, October 17, 2026!

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the merger between Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie.

To celebrate, our theme will be "Mercedes-Benz: A Century of Amalgamation."

We invite you to participate and help us showcase the brand's diverse history.

Up to thirty (30) Mercedes-Benz cars may be part of the Special Display, and we hope to fill all available slots.

To enter your vehicle for consideration in the Special Display, please download and complete the registration form linked in the email you will receive at the end of this preliminary process, then email it to Omar Abou-Zied (vicepresident@mbca-gws.org) before July 17, 2026.

The registration form you will receive requires the following:

• Your contact information

• Year, make, model of your vehicle(s)

• Vehicle write-up (250 words or less, examples provided in the registration materials you will receive)

• High-resolution vehicle photo

• Agreement that your vehicle(s) will remain on display from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Specially designated volunteers are a prerequisite for our participation in this year's Special Display.

Special Display Volunteers' Duties:
The club must provide one (1) volunteer for every five (5) vehicles in the special display. This requirement is separate from, and in addition to, the minimum of one (1) volunteer required to staff the club’s designated row on the show field. 

Duties include:

• Serving in the special display area on the day of the show from 7:30 – 11 a.m.
• Greeting vehicle owners
• Placing display vehicles in the correct space
• Placing the vehicle information signs at each vehicle
• Distribute participation plaques
• Answer questions of the display participants
