About this event
The one half day class is a great choice to sample the performance of an open wheel car on our road course. The day consists of 1 hour of class to learn the line, vehicle dynamics and how to heel toe downshift. Each driver will drive 2-25 minute sessions chasing one of our Instructors. Speeds can easily reach triple digits with proper technique.
Event requirements
Participants must be over the age of 16. If participant is under 16, please contact John Speight at 615-400-3539 to see if they will qualify for enrollment.
While we like our participants to understand manual transmissions, it is not 100% required. We can give a short tutorial and help participants to get acquainted with manual transmission.
We have an array different size helmets and suits, but feel free to bring your own if you choose. Please wear thin soled shoes (think wrestling shoes), if you do not have actual racing shoes.
