Does my car need any special preparation?
You'll be driving your own car. It needs to have good brakes and be in sound mechanical condition overall, ready for a weekend of intensive driving. When you register you'll receive more detailed information about having it inspected prior to the event.
You may not drive a rental car (Hertz, Avis, etc.) in the school. (Exception: cars prepared and explicitly rented out for track use.)
All cars must have a fully functional front passenger seat that's usable by a personal of average size and build. If in doubt, contact me.
For safety reasons we do not accept convertibles, including hard-top or retracting metal roof models.
Do I need any special equipment?
You will need a helmet that meets Snell Memorial Foundation or SFI standards. More information about his is in the school documentation you'll receive after registration. We do have a very limited number of loaner helmets available for first time students who may not wish to commit to buying their own.
