This tour marks the return of the very popular 2010 and 2011 Willamette Valley Tours, once again led by Miller Adams and Cheryl Roberts. The Tour will start at the Krispy Kreme at the Tacoma Mall with a freeway stint to the Longview / Kelso area where the Tour leaves the freeway and moves onto the fabulous roads of Western Oregon and the Willamette Valley. Lunch will take place in Newberg, OR, pay-as you-go, at The Allison Inn & Spa or any restaurant in Newberg. The Allison is an award winning venue with amazing facilities and amenities. During our time in Newberg the owners of The Allison will open their private car museum to Tour Participants – It’s a wonderful car collection.
Those making this a One-Day Tour will head back to Seattle after lunch and the visit at the Austin Car Museum. Those making this a Two-Day-Tour will continue south, deeper into the Willamette Valley, cross the historic Wheaton Ferry, continuing to Salem, OR and The Grand Hotel – Salem.
The Saturday evening dinner will take place at the Chemeketa Center for Business and Industry a short distance from the hotel. The CCBI is an award-winning facility owned and operated by Chemeketa Community College. A no-host wine bar will be available serving wine from the Chemeketa-Eola Viticulture Center, a vineyard and winery owned and operated as a teaching facility by Chemeketa. Cost of the dinner is $35 per person, charged to your Visa or Mastercard as part of the registration process
Sunday morning we will gather at Orchards Heights Winery at 9:00 for their famous Orchards Heights Sunday Brunch. We will have tables reserved for the Porsche Club. After breakfast, Eric and Sherry Breidenbach will lead an informal winery tour including a possible lunch stop and the famous Willamette Valley Vineyards. Members staying through Sunday night might consider dining at Bentley’s Grill and Lounge off the hotel lobby, one of the most popular restaurants in Salem.
Come join us for this single day, overnight or overnight "plus" tour into the beautiful Willamette Valley!!
