 THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO ALL BRANDS OF CARS

• Each group will get 3 twenty minute sessions and one 55 minute session.   Price is $279 for GGLC members and $299 for non-members.  You can join the club for $25 and take the member discount immediately.  This price will likely increase as we get closer to the event, especially if the weather is looking good, so I recommend you sign up early.
• We are offering an additional $25 discount if this will be  your fist Open Track even with the GGLC.
• sign up with a buddy and get an additional $25 off for each of you.  (you must notify us by email BEFORE either of you sign up).
• We have a few spots for Beginner drivers who have never driven on a race track before.  We will pair  you with a coach for the day.
• We are running this event as guests of LightSpeed as they have rented the track for the day and sold us 2 run groups.
• We are only running 2 groups, one with open passing, and one with pointbys required in the turns and short straights and open passing on the long straights.
• Cancelations with full refund are allowed before April 20
• All brands of cars are welcome. 
• Pre 1980 open wheel cars are allowed in the Advanced Group only.  Later open wheeled cars are not allowed.
• Beginner drivers (zero track days previous experience) are allowed and will be required to have a GGLC approved coach in the passenger seat. Space is limited for this.

The Golden Gate Lotus Club has been running open track events for over 20 years.  We are a non-profit group and our goal is to provide low-hassle open track days for minimum cost with maximum track time. 

All brands of cars are welcome at our events.  Typical events are about 20% Lotus and 80% other cars.   Lemons-type race cars are allowed if they are in excellent mechanical condition (Lemons cars will receive a special safety inspection at the track).  Open top cars must have a roll bar with rear braces.   Open cars with factory installed roll-over protection (pop-up bars or similar) are allowed.  Open wheel race cars are allowed in the Advanced Group only.  Roll bars in open cars must pass the broomstick test.  (top of drivers helmet must not be above the top off the roll bar and windscreen).  

Helmets must be rated SA2015 or later.  Motorcycle helmets are not allowed.  Eye protection is required for open cars.  Head and neck restraint systems are STRONGLY recommended for all drivers and passengers.  If you are using a 4, 5, or 6 point harness then a head and neck restraint system is required.
