About this event
Instructor & Volunteer Registration for Tire Rack Street Survival school at Michelin Proving Grounds, Laurens, SC
The Street Survival school will teach new drivers the fundamentals of car control under the guidance of in-car coaches (instructors). As an instructor or course volunteer, you will be helping the students become more comfortable and confident with operating a vehicle. We want to encourage the students to drive safe and drive smart.
As a course volunteer, you may find yourself helping in number of areas. These can include but are not limited to...
- shagging cones
- helping students check tire pressures during morning vehicle preparation
- sharing tips and driving experiences with students and parents
As an instructor, you will provide students with in-car instruction during the driving portion of the school. Previous instructing experience is not required, but a good understanding of car dynamics and safety is necessary. Depending on the number of registered instructors, you may have up to (2) students.
Lunch is provided.
